GW99 has two general functions: connects personal computer to an industrial network or connects two industrial networks.

It is produced in 3 variants: GW99, GW99 PG and GW99 RB.

GW 99 connects the networks ComiconBus with a personal computer.

Supervisor functions for control of the ComiconBus network.

Configurable permanent exchange for data acquisition (SCADA).

GW 99 PG connects the ComiconBus network to a network of Siemens's registering devices PIEZOGRAPH. GP99 PG takes part as a "Master" device in the network of registering devices.

GW99 RB collects information from devices included in the Endress&Hauser's RackBus network. GW99 RB takes part as "Master" device in the RackBus network.
